He was predeceased by: his parent Theresa Thrun; his stepfather Peter Thrun; his brother-in-law Edwin Ostrowski; and his sister Delores Wanta. He is survived by: his wife Frances Falkowski; his children, Jim Check (Melinda), Jeff Check (Juanita), Jerry Check (Brenda), Jacquelyne Check and Jolyne Ostrowski (Josh); and his siblings, Peter Thrun (Dawn), Gerald Thrun (Elizabeth), Charles Thrun (Tracy), Elizabeth Ostrowski, Rita Repinski (Allen) and Margaret Glodowski (Daniel) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
