Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Schlegel and Marion Schlegel (Hollen); her husband George Pederson; and her brother Alton. She is survived by: her children, John Pederson (Roxanne) of Rochester, MN, Ann Nelson (Todd) of Carrollton, TX and Mary Novotny (Steven) of Green Bay, WI.; her grandchildren, Katherine Pederson, Michael Pederson (Brittany), Ross Nelson, Bryan Nelson, Courtney Hessler (Jacob) and Janelle Novotny; and her brother Roger Schlegel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church - Cumberland Elm (1180 8th Ave, Cumberland, WI 54829).
