It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland Walter Meier of Cumberland, Wisconsin, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Meier and Mildred Meier (Johnson); his children, Scott Meier, Christopher Meier, Jacque Meier-Smith of Hudson and Pamela Grover of New Richmond; his grandchildren, Scott, Darren Grover and Rose Smith; his great grandchildren, Aydan, Devin, Cloe, Zoe, Walter, Wesley and Helen; his brother Raymond Meier; his son-in-law Brian Smith; and his fiancée Patricia Norman. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, and other family and friends.

He later took up stained glass and was happy to gift them to family, friends, and donated pieces to charity.
