He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Jansen of Turtle Lake; his parents, Fred and Rosa; his brothers, William (Wilma) and Kenneth (Florence); and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Jansen (Alice), William Jansen (Lila), John Gores and Margie Graber (Fred).
He is survived by: his children, Connie Roemhild (Greg) of Almena, Susan Futterer (Chuck) of Grand Marais, MN, Tom Ludy (Lauren) of Turtle Lake and Steve Ludy (Eileen Hager) of Wausau, WI; his grandchildren, Adrianne McDonough (Mike), Gretchen Olson (Mike), Logan Futterer (Jennie Urick), Devan Futterer (Laine), Kelly Ludy, Ryan Ludy (Beth), Eric Ludy (Caroline), Ben Ludy (Heather) and Nick Ludy (Bri); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Jansen (Carol) and Mary Ann Gores. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
