He is survived by: his spouse Gloria Hedke; his children, Doug Effertz (Judy) of Cumberland, Bill Effertz (Shelley) of Cumberland, Laurie Helmueller (Jerry) of Little Canada, MN and Scott Effertz of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Michelle Porter (Darwin), Amy Helmueller, Aaron Effertz (Meghan), Hannah Effertz, Ashley Vanderhoof, Eric Effertz, Sarah Effertz, Jessica Bates (Shane), Lacey Antonetti (Adam), Jacob Effertz (Jenni), Becca Effertz, Jason Stouffer (Michelle), Andrea Frochlich (Ron), Lisa Stouffer-Conrad (Michael), Melissa Armstrong and Christine Hines; and his siblings, Richard Effertz of Helena, MT, Lavina Knutson of Prairie Farm and Patsy Hendricks of Tomah. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
