She was predeceased by: her parents, Harland Batson and Grace Connor; her former husband Joseph L Vennie; her husband Richard Gilbert; her sons, David Vennie and Tracy Gilbert; and her siblings, Kathryn "Geegee" Casey, LeRoy "Bud" Batson, Irma Wescott, Laurel Calaway and Ada English.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Vennie of Cumberland, WI, Joy Vennie Cap of Cumberland, WI and Jill Vennie of Cumberland, WI; her grandchildren, Dana Vennie Jr. of Barron, Erika Vennie Sara Vennie of Cumberland, Justin Jansen of Cumberland, Daniel Cap of Lockport, IL, Laurel Cap of South St, Donovan Gilbert of Barron, Aaron Gilbert of Superior, Ben Gilbert of Cumberland and Joseph Vennie of Cumberland; and her sister Joyce Batson of Novato California. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
