It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilberto Velez (Cumberland, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 28, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Velez and Maria Theresa Velez (Montalvo); his wife Minerva of Cumberland; his children, Evelyn Velez of Orlando, FL, Gilberto Velez, Jr. of Orlando, Brenda Diaz (Pedro) and Linnette Torres (Jesus) of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Noel Ayala, Katherine Ayala, Onelia Gonzales, Frank Gonzales, Marie Gonzales, Giovanni Torres, Emmanuel Torres and Jonathan Torres; and his siblings, Anna Velez, Neyqui Velez, Jose Velez, Rosa Velez, Adanes Santiago and Adela Velez. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
