He was predeceased by: his parents, Eyolf Waldal and Evelyn Waldal (Johnson); and his siblings, Ranuld and Sonja. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ricci; his children, Eric Waldal, Gretchen Hansen (Jeff) and Scott Waldal (Katie); his grandchildren, Anna, Alex, Gabriel, Cameron, Colwyn, Carolin, Coleen, Callaghan, Corrigan and Catherin; and his sister-in-law Audrey Waldal. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

His faith was the foundation of his life.
