He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Pawlak and Helen Pawlak (Rzetelny); and his siblings, Leonard Pawlak (Catherine), Calvin Pawlik and Angeline Bennett (Joel).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Czeshinski; his children, Gene Pawlak and Beth Fons (Tom); his brother Steve Pawlak, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Lois Grajek. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
