He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Lachenschmidt; his children, Lynn Chisholm (Jim), Brian Lachenschmidt (Sandy) and Mary Benkert (Fred); and his grandchildren, Michael Lachenschmidt and Virginia Lachenschmidt (Billy Larenzo).
