He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bowden and Mildred Bowden (Dearth); his wife Madonna Schroeder of Kieler, WI; and his brothers, John, Warren, Fred, Lawrence, Phillip and Lloyd.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Brownell (Bob) of Dubuque, IA, Arthur Bowden of Cuba City, WI, Linda Jegerlehner (Jim) of Dubuque, IA, Robert Bowden (Belinda) of Lakewood, WA, Margaret Kelly (Gregg) of Cuba City, WI, James Bowden (Melody) of Dubuque, IA and William Bowden (Kelly) of Baraboo, WI; and his sisters, Margaret Vail and Mary Bowden. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.
