She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Bertjens and Lillian "Lynn" Bertjens (Seippel); and her sisters, Michelle Kaiser and Diane Loeffelholz. She is survived by: her husband Brian Wedig; her children, Brittany Pusateri and Brandon Wedig (Alexandria); her grandchildren, Madden and Wes; her children, Tucker Wedig and Jacob Wedig (Stacia); her siblings, Debbie Hoey (Dan), Cindy Aird (Ken) and Steve Bertjens (Laura); her brother-in-law Nick Loeffelholz; and her parents-in-law, Tom and Rita Wedig. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812).
Lisa was a giving person her whole life and continued that upon her death through organ donation to help others.
