He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Johns and Mary "Beeb" Johns McWilliams (Banfield); his daughter Jenny; his parents-in-law, Erwin and Bernice Bloechl; his siblings-in-law, Barbara Horn, Christine Bloechl and Steve "Gomer" Smith; and his niece Rachel Schuster.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Johns (Bloechl); his children, Maggie Kowalski (Todd) of La Crescent, MN, Emily Yach (Henry III), Jeff Johns (Holly) and Britt O'Connell (Ryan); his siblings, Mary Alice Johns (Terry Udelhofen), Kay Kuepers (Luke), Beth Busch (Jerry), Julie Rae (Mark) and Bob Johns (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Will, Cody, Jenna Kowalski, Henry IV, Abby, Grace, Ellie Yach, Ryleigh Kirk, Levi, Addaley, Lucy Johns, Georgia and Graham O'Connell.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Galena Bible Church (11108 US-20, Galena, IL 61036).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Leslie's name may be sent to the funeral home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.
