He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kunkel and Gezena Kunkel (Dalsing); his son Danny; and his siblings, Alverna Schaefer (Orville) and Gilbert Kunkel.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Weber; his children, David (Janice) of Westfield, WI, Deborah of Dallas, TX, Gary (Vicki) of Oregon, WI, Cynthia (John) and Diane (Flip) of Madison, WI; his brother Norman Kunkel (Eunice); his sister-in-law Colleen Kunkel; his grandchildren, Robin Higgins, Sera, Steven Harbert, Matthew, Lindsey, Zachery Kunkel and Jared Pratt; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Randolph, Ivan Kunkel, Oscar and Arlo.
