He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson Staskal and Ruth Ann Staskal (Loney); his wife Jane M. Slater; his son Shawn Staskal; his niece Marcy Staskal; his sister-in-law Melly Staskal; his uncle Sylvester Staskal; and his grandson Casey Bass.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Staskal of Platteville, WI; his stepchildren, Ann Dunn (Roby) of Hampton, GA, John Bray (Vicky) of Avoca, WI, Karen Niemeyer (Tad) of Cuba City, WI and Susan Simon of Cuba City, WI; his siblings, Sandy Hein (Dave), Redgie Staskal, Steven Staskal (Betty) and Lynn Staskal (Cherie); his friend Bart Whitaker; and his close friend Honey. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; along with many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
