He is survived by: his parents, Philip Houtakker and Sylvia Houtakker (Kunkel); his great-grandparent Tootsie; his wife Ruth; his children, Suzanne Schollmeyer (Wally) of Shullsburg, Michael Houtakker (Annette) of Darlington, Kenneth Houtakker of Shullsburg, Phil Houtakker (Rita Busch) of Benton, Jeff Houtakker (Kathy Heim) of Shullsburg, Alan Houtakker (Erin Mensen) of Urbana and Brian Houtakker (Gina) of Solon; his siblings, Rosemary Vondra of Platteville, Joan Linden of Cuba City, Rita Baumhover (Gary) of Arkansas, Harold Houtakker and David Houtakker (Adel); and his sister-in-law Celina Houtakker of Cuba City. He is also survived by grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
