He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Rogers and Mary Rogers (Peacock); his wife LaVon Duggan; his daughter Laura Mary; and his siblings, Harold, Dale "Buck" Rogers, Lucile Severance and Leone Sommerfeld.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Jacobi (Steve) of Cedar Falls, Sue Droessler (Wayne) of Cuba City, Kelly Wirz (Mike), Ronald Rogers (Kathi) of Troy, Gary Rogers (Patty) of Rockford, Pat Rogers (Donna), Jim Rogers (Mary) of Eagan and Randy Rogers (Luanne). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a Dean Rogers Memorial Fund has been established.
