She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bauer and Florence Bauer (Weber); her husband Larry; her daughter Marlene; her son-in-law Dennis Gilbertson; and her granddaughter Kari Hofer.
She is survived by: her children, Art Hofer (Dory) of Rewey, WI, Allen Hofer (Lisa) of Platteville, WI, Mary Hofer-Furlong (Shawn) of Cuba City, WI and Sarah Hofer of Windsor, WI; and her sister Helen Kearns (Ted) of Platteville, WI. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of plants and flowers, a Darlene G. Hofer Memorial Fund has been established.
