He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bertling and Anita Bertling (Holz); and his nephew Steve Allen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail Bertling; his children, Ciara Bertling of Cuba City, WI and Shaun Bertling (Mary) of Cuba City, WI; his brothers, Ric Bertling (Cheryl) of Dubuque, IA, Steve Bertling (Sonia) of Holden, MO and Kevin Bertling of Dubuque, IA; and his pets, Mia "Tank" and Bailey. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
