She was predeceased by: her father Anton Schmitt. She is survived by: her mother Catherine Schmitt (Burbach) of Lancaster, WI; her husband Gary P. Helbing; her daughters, Katie Majerus (Brian) and Lily of Mount Horeb, WI; and her siblings, Anton Schmitt of Hazel Green, WI, Donna Krieger of Platteville, WI and Bernadette Valo of Enoch, UT.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Catherine "Cathy" L. Helbing Memorial Fund has been established.
