It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burnell L. Deiter of Cuba City, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Burnell L. Deiter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Deiter and Elsie Deiter (Dieters); his son Mark; his former wife Theresa Ann Hickie; his sister Thelma; his brother-in-law Ed Pfohl; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Mable Hickie; his sisters-in-law, Mary Vogt (Bill) and Bernice Harwick (Forest); and his stepgrandson Josh Langkamp.
He is survived by: his friends, Ron and Linda Errthum; his wife Harriet; his children, Ronald Deiter (Lynn Loeffelholz) of Ames, IA, Donna Rogers (Patrick) of Cuba City, Linda Griffin (Marty) of Cuba City and Karla Schroeder (Ron) of Cuba City; his grandchildren, Natalie Kepley (Justin), Drew Deiter (Jody), Alison Deiter (Titus Bland), Erin Rogers (Lynne), Ryan Rogers, Brett Rogers (Sarah), Tyler Griffin, Tara Kaiser (Ryan), Tia Griffin (Keith Black), Nicole Parrott (Sam), Troy Schroeder (Amanda) and Travis Schroeder (Amelia); his stepchildren, Brad Gehrke (Abby) of Washington, D. C., Pam Langkamp (Paul), Brian Gehrke (Lori) and Linda VanNatta (Eric); and his stepgrandchildren, Heather Deitre (Chris), Sarah, Aiden Gehrke, Jamie Hocking (Mike), Andrew VanNatta (Kayla) and Hannah Schleef (Jared). He is also survived by eight step-great-grandchildren.
The family requests you utilize masks during the duration of your visit in the church and that you practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Rose Church or Cuba City Rescue Squad.
