She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ertz and Mildred Ertz (Wiest); her husband Merlin E. Helbing of Mary's Catholic Church; her grandson Joshua Eggers; and her siblings, Albert Ertz Jr. and Mary Konichek (Zeke).
She is survived by: her children, Alan Helbing of Cuba City, WI, Sandy Eggers (Gerry) of Cuba City, WI, Pat Runde (Wayne) of La Crosse, WI and Pam Fischer (Dave) of Janesville, WI; her siblings, Rosie Miles (Stanley), Jane Trumm (Jack) and Eugene Ertz (Georgia); and her sister-in-law Phyllis Ertz. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (305 W Main St, Dickeyville, WI 53808). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants and flowers, a Bernadine Marcella "Bunnie" Helbing Memorial Fund has been established.
