He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamor Evans and Eva Evans (Eaton); his wife Evelyn Hartwick; his son Howard; and his siblings, Thelma Hoggard, Frederick and Donald Evans (Elaine).

He is survived by: his children, Jean Mulvey (Kevin), Lucas Evans (Karen Lampe) and Jay Evans (Kim Griffin). He is also survived by two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur's name to the Salvation Army.
