She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Chapman and Juanita Chapman (Woolstenholme); her husband Edwin "Ed" Banfield; her son-in-law Dewey Bockhop; her siblings, Shirley Chapman, Dale Chapman (Mary Lou), Shelby Machgan and Kristie Abernathy (Wayne); her brother-in-law Dave Esch (Ed's); and also, Imelda Alt (Ed), Luella O'Neill (Dede), Katie Weber (Walt), Sylvester Banfield (Pearl), Louie Banfield (Grace) and Mary "Beeb".
She is survived by: her children, Linda Whitt (Ron) of Slinger, WI, Julie Bockhop of Cuba City, WI, Laura Johnson (Jeff) of Delavan, WI, Jane Slaght (Ron) of Pleasant Prairie, WI, Ed Banfield (Pam) of Antioch, IL and Bill Banfield (Mary Jo) of Kewaskum, WI; her sister Janet Esch of Ridgeway, WI; and her close friend Pam Freymiller. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 8:45 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (519 W Roosevelt St, Cuba City, WI 53807). Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
