Alverna J. Lewis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alverna J. Lewis of Cuba City, Wisconsin, born in Dickeyville, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 3, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ginter and Louise Ginter (Wagner); her son Dennis Lewis; her siblings, Edwina Lyster (Delvin), Phyllis Ernst (Ed), Wilfred Ginter, Roman "Bud" Ginter and Eileen Steffen (Andy); and her daughter-in-law Kathy Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Cole (Jeff), LeaAnn Baker (Dave) of Plover, WI, Laurie Goeman (Ben) of Chippewa Falls, WI and Donna Wisdom (Randy); her daughter-in-law Elaine Lewis of Benton, WI; her grandchildren, Jim Lewis (Heidi), Katie Cooperstein (Matt), Amy Millin (Jeff), Jessica Phillipson (Adam), Kevin Cole, Kari Griffo (Gary), Kellie Heitzkey (Adam), Kurt Kramer (J. P. Gauthier), Kristin Adams (Evan), Nick Goeman (Carly), Brad Goeman (Katie), Allison Richard (Chris), Michael Wisdom (Michelle Wedig), Elizabeth Wisdom and Scott Wisdom; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Phillips and Leona "Pete" Ginter. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, an Alverna J. Lewis Memorial Fund will be established. Donations may be sent to the funeral home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.
