He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Johnson and Margaret Johnson (Butts); his in-laws, Sylvester and Loretta Wiederhold; and his brother-in-law Mike Wiederhold.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wiederhold; and his children, Patricia Ernst (Tom Nyffenegger) of Darlington, WI, Theresa Holzer of Lancaster, WI, Alan Johnson of Campobello, SC and Brian Johnson of Cedar Park, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
