He is survived by: his friend Nancy Dolan; his children, Eric Dries (Pamela Madsen), Laurie Dries (Thomas Wilcox) and David Dries (Anna); his siblings, Robert Dries, Donna Coughlin and Virgie Nickels; and also, Annika, Maximillian and Leonardo.
