He was predeceased by: his father Delwyn Hernstine; and his grandparents, Marvin, Grace Alshouse, Joseph and Pauline Hernstine.
He is survived by: his mother Diane Hernstine (Alshouse); his sister Kristen Krause (Brad); and his nephews, Alex Krause and Evan Scott Krause. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
