She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michels and Mary Michels (Kelter); her husband Vincent; her son Ron; and her siblings, Joseph and Laura Felsheim.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Imhoff (Mike), Sharon Hildebrandt (Tom), Steve Ripp (Carol) and Dale Ripp (Joan); her grandsons, Peter Ripp and Christopher Ripp; her great grandchildren, Emily and Maddie; her friend Ruth Filz (Phil); her siblings, Viola Helt and Norbert Michels (Rosalie); and her sister-in-law Frances Michels-Beuthin.
