With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Meri Lynn DeGarmo (Cross Plains, Wisconsin), born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 8, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Meri Lynn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schuppe and Dorothy Schuppe (Malmstadt); and her half-brother David Wtipil. She is survived by: her children, Beth DeGarmo (Nathan Johnson) and David DeGarmo (Liz); her grandchildren, Cora and Drew DeGarmo; her brother Scott Schuppe (Brenda); her nephew Jake Schuppe (Elizabeth Frazier); and her family Turville Bay Radiology.
In lieu of flowers Meri has requested donations be made to McKallies Home of Future and Hope (mckallieshome.org), a children's village in Malawi that was very close to her heart.
