It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Magdalena Alvarado Venegas (Cross Plains, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 15, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Jose and Marcela; and her brother Mateo.
In lieu of flowers, we would like to honor Magdalena's beliefs and support around social justice. We ask you to please donate to the local organizations that support the following groups: LGBTQ+, Women's Rights, Planned Parenthood, Minority Groups especially the Black and Brown community, or Sun Prairie Area School District-Department of Systemic Equity and Inclusion for the creation of a Coalition of Latin American Students at each high school and middle school, as well as local Mental Health organizations.
