He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert Shea and Florence Shea; and his aunts and uncles, Kathleen Sundstrom and Clint Sundstrom. He is survived by: his parents, Bill Balma of Misery Bay and Nancy "Peachy" Balma of Misery Bay; his siblings, Kim Buda (Paul) of Houghton, Christian Hinkle of Waunakee, WI and Beth; his nieces and nephews, Holly Herrick (Chad), Paul Buda, Nick Buda, Maria Joyce, Michael Joyce and Natasha Joyce; and his friend Raechal Betler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Grace United Methodist Church of Houghton.
