She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Sutherland; and her siblings, Russell, Warren, Leona, Betty and Sue.

She is survived by: her sons, Jon Sutherland (Amy) of Madison and James Parens (Shawnee) of Tucson, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Kameron Nonn, Tailyn Ludwiczak, Max Parmaker and Jackson Parmaker; and her sister-in-law Nancy Sutherland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
