She is survived by: her parents, Lee Baxter Dyer of Norfolk and Thelma West Dyer of Norfolk; her husband George Leonard Rueckert; her brothers, Roland Rueckert, Frank Rueckert and Ronald Rueckert; and her children, George Randolph Rueckert (Anastassiya) and Monica Lee Rueckert McEnerny (Harry).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Evelyn's name to Agrace Hospice Care in Madison, Wisconsin.
