She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys E. Schultz and Herbert B. Schultz; and her husband Gary Rothenbuehler. She is survived by: her boyfriend Patrick; her children, Jenny (Bill Hamby), Ill, Emily (Andy Zimmerman) and Wisc; her stepdaughter Melissa Babin; her grandchildren, Maggie, Ryan Hamby, Grace, Nate Zimmerman, Izzy, Harry, Max Walker, Kayla and Zach Babin; and her brothers, Steven Schultz (JoAnne) of Ann Arbor, Mich, Dave Schultz (Sue) of Hartford and Wisc. She is also survived by four nieces.
In lieu of flowers, Liz's family invites you to raise a glass in celebration of our incredible mother, sister, friend, and mate (dirty martinis were her favorite) and take yourself on a mini-adventure, such as trying a new activity or exploring a new restaurant. If you prefer a more traditional remembrance, memorials may be directed to the Carbone Cancer Center.
