We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 94, Elizabeth Margaret Laufenberg (Cross Plains, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Karls and Elizabeth Karls (Hellenbrand) of Waunakee; her husband Herbert Laufenberg of John's Catholic Church; her siblings, Helen Niesen (Lawrence), George Karls (Marilyn), Alfred Karls (Mary Ann), Donald Endres, Herman Greiber, David Keller (Marian), Art Laufenberg (Leona), Kenneth Laufenberg (Rose Marie) and Jack Laufenberg (Roman Statz); her parents-in-law, Anton and Henrietta Laufenberg; and her godson Philip Karls.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Laufenberg (Marilee) of Jasper, Diane Boland (Jim) of Mount Horeb, Jane Cunneen (Ray) of Highlands Ranch, Colo of Mount Horeb, Richard Laufenberg (Joann) of Mount Horeb, William Laufenberg (Sue) of Mount Horeb, Sharon Carl (Greg) of Mount Horeb and Tony Laufenberg of Mount Horeb; her grandchildren, Joel Laufenberg (Stephanie), Chris Laufenberg (Julia), Karen Dale, Peter Boland (Jackie), Brian Boland (Katie), Julie Smith (Chris), Sarah Brecklin (Adam), Bria Ward (Wade), Lindsey Ragatz (Adam), David Laufenberg, Frank Laufenberg and Erin Nanney (Ryan); her stepgrandson Brian Severson (Kelly); her siblings, Genny Greiber, Lucille Endres and Edmund Karls (Virginia); her sisters-in-law, Jean Statz, Judy Laufenberg and Eileen Rauls (Jim); her niece Kathy Keller; and her nephews, Jerry Niesen and Brian Statz. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wisconsin Right to Life or St. Vincent de Paul Society in Madison.
