He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lang and Helen Lang; his former wives, Patricia Metrish and Patricia Lang; his grandsons, Joshua Lang and Connor Lang; his sister MaryAnn Whitcomb (Otis); his parents-in-law, Joseph, Sylvia Staehler and Gertrude Metrish; and his siblings-in-law, George Lang and Loretta Perin.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Staehler; his children, Jeffrey Lang (Diane), Mark Lang (Laura), Laurie Schleif (William) and Michael Lang; his grandchildren, Kaity Meyer, Logan Lang, Lucas Gleason-Lang, Kaylee Lang and Elly Schleif; his siblings, Carol Lang (George) and James Lang (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Staehler (Sharon), Karen Wollner (Ray), Steven Staehler (Rita), Joseph Perin, Robert Metrish (Joan), Thomas Danuser (Sonia), John Metrish (Patricia), Donald Metrish (Kathy) and Nancy Callan (Thomas). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will greet visitors on Friday, at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Masses or memorials to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital are appreciated.
