With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Kananen (Crivitz, Wisconsin), born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 7, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lura C. Goddard (Fifield) and Orville Goddard; her grandson Timothy Hoehnke; her siblings, Paulette Johnson (Donald), Jane, Shirley, Richard and Larry; her siblings-in-law, William Kananen and Leona DeVowe; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Ray LaFever.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Valerie Hoehnke (Scott) and Jeff Kananen (Lynn); her grandchildren, Holly Van (Kananen), Brad Hoehnke and Kurt Kananen (Christa); her great grandchildren, Jack Van Eyck, Nolan VanEyck, Carter VanEyck, Osias Kananen, Edelle Kananen and Gemma VanEyck; her brothers, James Goddard (Cynthia) and Orville Goddard (Diane); her parents-in-law, Sandy Kananen, Linda Goddard, Daniel Kananen (Cathy) and David DeVowe; and her goddaughters, Julie LeMere (Johnson) and Brenda Depandu. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
