He is survived by: his wife Melanie Cooper; his close friend Mary Cooper; his mother Frances Williams (Norman); his children, Lavadus Davis (Karen), Walter Cooper III and Whitney Hackney (Devante); his stepchildren, Andrew Burnett (April) and Breanna Burnett; his grandchildren, Lavadus Jr., Melissa, Mason, Charles, Kenneth, Devante Jr. and Nei'Lani; his stepgrandchildren, Kylie, Varun, Sage, Arai, Hale, Elora, Jayana, Andre, Jimi, Scarlett and Edward; his siblings, Ben, Charles, Carleatha, Trencess, Lawrence, Curtis and Jeremiah; his in-laws, Larry and Connie Alsteen; and his siblings-in-law, Brian (Noel), Casey (Trisha) and Tanya (Jayme). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
