He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Strand and Katherine Strand (Wagner); his wife Nedeen; his children, Romell Swanson (Tim) and David Strand (Denise Knutson); his siblings, Barb Rutledge, Kathy Strand (Louie Firari), Jim Strand (Alvhild) and Ken Strand (Heather); his grandchildren, Kayla Strand, Josh Swanson (Tammy), Andrea Long (Andy) and Tyler Swanson (Sarah); his brother John P. Chauncey; and his brother-in-law Don Rutledge. He was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
