She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Wendel and Lucy Wendel (Sommers); her husband William J. "Bill" Greaney; and her siblings, Jeannette Raudabaugh, Miriam Cartwright, Mildred Bomholt, Joe Wendel and Jim Wendel.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin Greaney, Michael Greaney (Sheila), Robert Greaney and Betsy Norman (Mark); her grandchildren, Mara Greaney, Candace Cieslinski, Kyle Greaney, Meghan Greaney, Kaitlin Greaney, Liam Greaney, Brody Norman, Christopher Norman and Teghan Norman; and her great grandchild Arianna Cieslinski.

Memorials may be gifted in Mary's name to Habitat for Humanity or the Alzheimer's Association.
