It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lee Phelan (Cottage Grove, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Lamoreux and Beatrice Lamoreux (Orvold); her husband Dennis Daniel Phelan; her son Dennis; and her brothers, Jim and Paul Lamoreux.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Phelan (Denise), Tom Phelan (Mary Becker) and Diane (Larry Raney); her grandchildren, Kristin, Jessica, Ryan, Erika, Jeremy (Deanna) and Sara; her great grandchildren, Jewel, Olivia, Noah, Selena, Christina, Sean, Mitchell, Gabi and Liam; her great great grandchildren, Iris, Lincoln and Crew; her stepgrandchildren, Brandin, Kim and Jennifer; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Logan, Sammy, Kyleigh, Alexis, Miles and Lydia; and her great great grandchildren, Kendrick, Preston and Navaeh.

Joan was known for her kindness, unrelentless generosity as she never said no to a charity, and her deep faith.
