James Skaar Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Skaar of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 85, on June 18, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Neli Skaar and Myrtle Skaar; his parents-in-law, Gilman and Valborg Waag; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Waag, John Martin, Yvonne and Audrey Waag.

He is survived by: his children, Neli-Punky Skaar and Jami Moe (Todd); his granddaughters, Kaia and Brita Moe; his siblings, Duane Skaar and Mia Martin; his siblings-in-law, Micky Waag, Jean Waag, Dorothy Skaar and Arlyn Waag (Mary Onsrud); and his close friends, Justin, Damien Johnson and Dick Kapral. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center or the Stoughton Norwegian Dancers.
