She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Crotty and Lola Crotty (Curran); her husband Roger Newton; her siblings, Morris Crotty, William Crotty and Mary Messenger; her sister-in-law Mardell Crotty; and her son-in-law Michael Kellogg.
She is survived by: her children, George, Julie Hartung (Dan), Mary Newton-Kellogg, Janis Schneider (David) and Lisa Franke (Dale); her grandchildren, Heather Surana, Courtney Hyzer, Nicole Herfel, Lori Newton, Tom Newton, Melissa Reithmeyer and Lauren Franke; and her siblings-in-law, Harry Messenger and Dorothy Crotty. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for St. Patrick Catholic Church.
