He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Colbenson and Naomi Colbenson (Manley); his son Victor Colbenson; his brothers, Caren and Colben "Bill" Colbenson; his sister-in-law Shirley Colbenson; and his former wives, Dora Ruth Colbenson and Luella Ann Colbenson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Colbenson of Holcombe; his children, Randy Colbenson (Joyce) of Alaska, Wayne Hemenway of Arizona, Troy Hemenway of Holcombe, Becky Helland (Dean) and Kristine Hemenway of Holcombe; his siblings, Ken Colbenson of North Carolina, Kirby Colbenson (Bonnie) of Bloomer, Dennis Colbenson (Carol) of Illinois, Ron Colbenson of Kentucky, Karen Kay Mocbeichel (Jim) of Illinois and Juanita "Dolly" Colbenson of Holcombe; his grandchildren, Jason Helland (Carrie) of Menomonie, David, Jessica Colbenson of Kentucky, Nikki, Dustin and Shelby Hemenway of Arizona; and his great grandchildren, Emily and Katelynn Helland of Menomonie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
