He is survived by: his wife Mary Sedevie (Elsen); his sister Elaine Proksch; his nieces, Bonnie Proksch and Sandra Proksch-Troope; his great-nephew Jerami Harden; his great-nieces, Meagan Troope and Alexis Troope; and his parents-in-law, Madonna Bahr, Barbara Elsen, Tom, Gary Elsen, Clara Ann Elsen, Gus, Brenda Elsen, Doug and Diane Elsen.
Memorials may be given to Coon Creek Fire and Rescue or St. Mary's Catholic Church in Coon Valley.
