He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Nelson and Nora Nelson (Mahlum); his brothers, Ernie (Audrey) and Roger (Corrine); and his granddaughter Elaine.
He is survived by: his wife LuEtta Swiggum; his children, Ricky (Julie Charon) of Coon Valley, Kathy (Marc Dahlen) of Coon Valley, Lori Manske (Mark) of Stoddard and Cindy Gartner (Adam) of Coon Valley; his grandchildren, Michelle, Courtney, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Ashley, Ethan, Kaden and Makenna; his great grandchildren, Brantley and Lilly; and his brother Dale Nelson (Kay) of Coon Valley.
