It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Kammel (Coon Valley, Wisconsin), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 14, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Kammel and Lucy Kammel (Klug); his wife Carol Jean; and his siblings, Gerald Kammel, Eugene Kammel and Evelyn Mikshowsky.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Kathryn) of Onalaska, Debra Bahr (Donald) of LaCrosse, Dennis of Coon Valley, James (Regina) of Coon Valley, John (Lorie) of Coon Valley, Pat of Coon Valley, Carl (Lisa) of La Crosse and Monica Koltermann (Frank) of Barre Mills; his grandchildren, Tara Kammel, Krista Schlicht (Ryan), Christopher Bahr, Scott Bahr (Stefanie), Tammy Pertile (Dan), Kyle Kammel, Max Kammel, Dallas Kammel, Gloria Laugalis, Benjamin Kammel (Brianna), Zachary Kammel, Kendon Kammel, Alton Kammel, Heleyna Kammel and Tanner Koltermann; his son Nilo Duarte; his great grandchildren, Keira, Lincoln Schlicht, Kayla, Ariana Bahr, Taylor, Jordan, Cameron Pertile, Everett, Kayleigh and Sutton Kammel; his son Harald Schindler; his siblings, Donald (Patricia) of Coon Valley, Reiney (Darlene) of La Crosse, Marian Roesler of La Crosse and Marcie Leibl (Syl Jr.) of Coon Valley; his sisters-in-law, Rosella Kammel of West Salem and Ettie Kammel Thiele of La Crosse; and his friend Max.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Coon Valley American Legion or the Freedom Honor Flight.
