It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Lee (Coon Valley, Wisconsin), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Stylen and Josephine Stylen (Knutson) of Hunder Coulee; her siblings, Polly Tollerud, Elsie Nelson and Jim Stylen; her siblings-in-law, Raymond Umberger, Robert Nelson, Woodrow Tollerud and Rachel Stylen; and her nephew Dick Brendum.
She is survived by: her siblings, Palma and Clayton; her husband Burton Lee; her children, Jim Lee (Karen), Toby Lee (Joan) and Jody Lampe (Greg); her grandchildren, Robin Lee (Danielle), Thea Trebelhorn (Zach), Jessamyn Lee-Jones (Garrett), Tessa Martin (Andy), Josephine (Brandon) and John Lee (Karen); her great grandchildren, Phoebe, Levon Jones, William, Charlie Martin, Penelope, Marian Winneshiek, Madison and Harper Trebelhorn; and her sister Ardelle Umberger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and relatives, and many wonderful friends.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Coon Valley Lutheran Church, especially WELCA, or a literacy organization of your choice.
