He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Olson and Hannah Olson (Wang); his wife Thelma; and his siblings, Harriet Coleman, Orrin Olson and LeRoy Olson.
He is survived by: his sister Marjorie Inglett of Rochester, MN; his children, Kathryn Sexauer (Charles) of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Olson of Coon Valley, Nancy Olson of Shell Lake, WI and Thomas Olson (Sharon) of Farmington, MN; his grandchildren, Alejandro Gonzalez (Monica Marino) of Atlanta, GA, Eduardo Gonzalez of Los Angeles, CA, Josiah Olson (Audra) of Chardon, OH, Hannah Carrizales (Joel) of Burnsville, MN and Rebekah Olson of Farmington, MN; and his great grandchildren, Elliot Olson, Elijah and Faith Carrizales. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
